Bike Rentals

We encourage bike riders to bring their own bicycles from home. Bikes can be shipped on nearly all airlines for under $100.

The race will be on paved road so slicks or knobby tires are appropriate.

We will have mountain bikes available for rent. If you wish to rent a bike, you may specify your requirements on the registration form, or email us. We will provide you with a bike as close to your size as possible (depending on availability).

To determine your proper bike frame size:

  1. Measure your inseam length in centimeters (barefoot)

  2. Multiply by .65

  3. Subtract 10

  4. Convert to inches

Thus if your inseam is 86 cm, you will fit an 18 in road bike (86 x .65 - 10 = 45.9cm/18 in).

Weather

The temperature on the race day is expected at around 20 - 28 celsius.
