2nd Annual Angkor Wat Bike Race & Rally (2007) a Tremendous Success!

More than 120 people from 20 different countries joined with the Village Focus Cambodia team in the successful running of the 2nd Annual Angkor Wat Bike Race and Rally. Through the efforts and dedication of the event participants, hundreds of people donated more than $50,000 to support Village Focus work in Cambodia, with particular focus on empowerment and protection of young people. The Village Focus Fellowship team, made up of 32 university students from Battambang, volunteered their time and energy to make the event a huge success and to set Village Focus up for an even larger event in 2008. Click here to read a 2007 event summary (PDF) written by event organizer Nicky McGavin. We will be announcing the dates of the 2008 Angkor Wat Race and Rally in the very near future!
