APLE

Goal: VFI partners with APLE (Action Pour Les Enfants) to protect street-based child sexual exploitation and pedophilia.

Context: Sihanoukville, Cambodia is a growing beach town has become a "global hot spot" for international sex offenders and pedophiles who prey on vulnerable street children. VFI partners with APLE and local authorities to monitor and arrest pedophiles, support and counsel victimized children, and advocate for stricter law enforcement.

Nearly 100 suspected pedophiles monitored by APLE with over 40 arrests of offenders from 12 different countries since 2004
Vulnerable children empowered to protect themselves from

Shelter and education provided to 250 vulnerable street

Victims of pedophilia reintegrated into families and schools
